Green Apple Catering & Events is looking for an Event Captain who can manage service teams, solve problems in real time, and deliver the kind of seamless experience that keeps corporate clients coming back year after year. Real-Time Leadership Where It Counts Most
The Event Captain is the on-site authority for Green Apple at every event. You'll direct servers, bartenders, and support staff through setup, service, and breakdown. You'll communicate with the client, coordinate with venue management, and make judgment calls that keep the event running smoothly — even when things don't go according to plan.
- Lead and direct event service teams of 5 to 50+ staff members
- Conduct pre-event briefings covering menu, timeline, and service standards
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients and venue coordinators
- Manage service timing — courses, toasts, transitions, and breakdown
- Troubleshoot issues in real time without disrupting the guest experience
- Ensure compliance with food safety, alcohol service, and venue policies
- Complete post-event reports and communicate feedback to the office team

- 2+ years of experience in catering, banquet, or event management
